Carla is a compassionate and dedicated individual who has spent the last two decades assisting women in delivering babies, witnessing the beauty of birth and the strength of the human spirit. Now, she is on a mission to support individuals in delivering their greater selves into the world. Recognizing that the pain we endure in birth mirrors the transformative process of bringing our higher selves to light, Carla is committed to guiding and empowering others on their own healing journey.
Born and raised in California, Carla’s journey in healthcare began when she graduated from the Nursing program at Pasadena City College.
She continued her education and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Phoenix. With boundless enthusiasm, she embarked on her nursing career, specializing in Maternal Child health. Her experience spans over 22 years, primarily focused on Labor and Delivery, and she has also gained expertise in Antepartum, Postpartum, and high-risk Nonstress testing clinics.
As a working mother, Carla understood the importance of self-care to maintain balance amidst life’s demands.
This realization led her to explore energy medicine, becoming a Reiki Master Teacher Practitioner in 2019. Eager to delve deeper into holistic healing, she pursued and completed her certification as a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner (FDN-P) in 2023. Carla’s purpose is to empower people to discover their body’s natural healing ability and provide guidance in creating their own holistic self-care toolbox.With her compassionate heart and wealth of knowledge, Carla is devoted to helping individuals not only get well but stay well on their path to optimal health and fulfillment.
